Keep this a spoiler-free topic. You can talk about stuff that's happened in the prologue and the first chapter, but nothing that actually reveals who is the first to die or kill.

I've read up to the first victim (NOT NAMING NAMES) and I think that Kuzuryuu (gangster), although the obvious choice for the first murderer, is innocent. I think it's more likely to be someone you don't expect, like how you didn't expect certain things to happen in the first game. Keeping to that, I'm gonna say either Komaeda (good luck) or Nevermind (princess) as those two seem to be the kindest people there, which would reflect nicely on what happened with a certain someone everyone thought was kind in DR1.

I've read up to the first victim as well. Given the circumstances, I can't help but suspect either Komaeda or Hanamura. And for some odd reason, I find myself also suspecting Ibuki. I feel like she'd be unexpected-- but we haven't seen very much of her and she's always so happy... So I find myself doubting it. Or Tsumiki. Souda is the type to panic, so it's not out of the question for him to be the culprit... But I really like Souda, so I'm hoping that's not the case.

I don't think Souda or Tsumiki will be the killer. I think Tsumiki is gonna take the place of Chihiro as the second victim, although I do hope I am wrong about that.

Hm... I feel as though the game is trying to make us suspect either Kuzuryuu or Souda-- so I can easily see things turning around and going in an unexpected direction. Souda's probably one of the ones I can see possibly being a killer, but at the same time, I don't feel very strongly that he's going to be the culprit in this case. Tsumiki... I want to know more about Tsumiki, to be honest. Given everything that happened in DR1, so many of them have hidden sides and such. I'm wondering which characters are going to get interesting developments in the future.

Guys, that was seriously not cool, and you're lucky you did not end up ruining the first murder for anyone. This topic was supposed to be spoiler-free. In other words, people guess at who would be the first murderer and victim. By posting what you did, you made it clear that you already knew who the victim was, and you ended up revealing who it wasn't.

It doesn't matter. You cannot be careless with spoilers, then just use stuff like that to justify it. Not everyone who comes here is going to be reading along with the LP.

I just assumed that as the paywall was down, and the identity of the first victim is on there, most people would have read it, as it is a pretty old thread now... just saying.
Also, can I just ask, if anyone has read this and had it spoiled by me, can they please post below? cos now I'm really interested to see who exactly I've spoiled it for.

I'm speaking in general. It doesn't matter if you didn't end up spoiling anyone. The point is, you could have. That's why you need to be careful. I didn't even know about and read the first game's LP until the second one was well underway. And I got completely spoiled by someone recklessly posting spoilers.
