The LP I'm following has finished chapter 2. I don't know how through Oren is, so I didn't expect there to be any conversation on here for a while... that's why I didn't mention any spoilers, as I was worried someone would come on and get pissed off at me when they found out who was the killer (or victim). How far through exactly is Oren?

The paywall has blocked most of the recent updates, so a lot of people haven't even seen the first murder victim yet. I have, do to the mirrors before they got cut off.

As of now, only one person has died, and I'm pretty sure that's still the first chapter.

Finally checked this one out. I figured out the murderer as soon as we found the empty water bottles in the trash. That execution was pretty shocking when Peko cut down Kuzuryu. I totally thought it was going to end with both of them dying, or her being allowed to live after killing him. That would be just as cruel. I loved the pics of them as kids, as well as him breaking down and crying for her, then trying to save her from her execution.
And Nagito gets all tied up.D :

I don't cry often, but the ending did have me in tears.
Wow, I said I don't cry often. I'm such a bad liar. Hell, I cried at the last two episodes of The Walking Dead for god's sake.

It seems like Peko's execution is based on the one Sakura in the first game would have had, had she ever killed anyone.
I also felt really bad for Kyuzuru in general during this chapter. He must have taken a few moments to understand what the game's credits meant, and then he sees the picture of his sister's body. Then Peko kills someone and is executed, but not before being forced to nearly kill him.;-;

I still wonder who it was that killed his sister though, cos really, that was left unexplained.
And yeah, Kuzuryuu did have it pretty rough all the way through that chapter.

Girl E. Her name is given in the chapter, and we even see a photograph of her. Kuzyuru is implied to have killed her to avenge his sister.

but that's in the game, isn't it? He doesn't know that his sister is dead until he plays the game.
Also, in the game, did he kill the one who toke the photos, or the one who killed his sister? I can't remember.
Either way, this 'Satou' gets away with it, and, presuming s/he wasn't killed the World's most depair inducing event thing is still alive.

The game is strongly suggested to be interpreting a real incident. If it were even slightly a lie, I think Monobear would have revealed that at some point to mess with everyone further.
Of course he doesn't know. Their memories of their time at Hope's Peak were removed, remember?
He killed the girl who killed his sister-Girl E. I think her name might have been Satou. The girl who took the photos was Koizumi or whatever her name is. She was killed by Peko.
