...those sewing kits really were useless.

Yeah, I was always expecting them to come up, but they never did. I guess everyone learned their lesson after Naegi used the fact that Leon couldn't prove his toolbox was unopened as a way to help make him own up to killing Maizono? After all, if someone died from the use of a sewing kit, having yours be the only one open would be a direct indication of who did it unless you managed to switch without another girl noticing.

The tool kits probably didn't get much use, either. Once the other rooms opened up, I think they were able to just use tools from there. Both were pretty ineffective as potential murder weapons, though.

And I don't think sewing kits can kill someone.

It's not impossible, but it's hardly an effective method. Especially when you consider most of the guys are bigger than the girls.

If you stabbed someone in the eye with a sewing needle... but without the element of surprise, which you'd be unlikely to have, attacking from the front, it'd be pretty difficult to stab them in the right place.

... or the throat, which I suppose is an easier target. I imagine the sewing needles being wielded like rapiers. The hammers and knives would pretty much mean there was no point using the kits.

Sorry for sounding dumb, but what does that emoticon mean? I looked it up on Urban Dictionary, and unless you were telling us you were high, my research yielded no results.

It can mean confusion or dizziness.
